In December 2011, QME and Dat Thang Company (Winland) - the contractor for the pipeline system at POMINA3 steel plant jointly implemented the hydraulic pipeline cleaning service for the entire plant line.
The Pomina project is currently the largest steel plant project in Southeast Asia with a scale including 01 billet plant with technology
Consteel (Germany) with a capacity of 1 million tons/year and 02 VAI - Pomini technology rolling lines (Italy).
Although the project encountered many technical and technological obstacles, the pipeline was large in size, in addition to rust removal, it was necessary to clean the paint layer inside the welded joints, in addition to choosing a large equipment configuration, it was also necessary to calculate the technology to clean the protective paint layer. Moreover, the factory site was not yet completed, so the arrangement of equipment encountered many difficulties.
In addition, the project implementation time was right on the Lunar New Year 2011, the progress set by the investor was very short. However, QME overcame all difficulties, connecting the oil pump modules into a system with a flow rate of up to 3,200L/P working in 3 shifts, and within 40 days, the project was successfully completed, exceeding the schedule required by the Investor.
