Modular Pressure Reducing Valves
The modular (sandwich) pressure reducing valve is utilized when a specific actuator within a hydraulic circuit requires a lower operating pressure than the main system supply pressure. Normally open, the internal spool automatically shifts to throttle or close the flow path once the downstream pressure reaches the pre-set limit. This precisely maintains a stable reduced pressure regardless of fluctuations in the primary pump supply.
