Orbital Hydraulic Motors (Gerotor)

Orbital Hydraulic Motors, also commonly referred to in engineering as Gerotor Motors, are highly popular Low Speed High Torque (LSHT) hydraulic motors. The core construction consists of an inner gear (rotor) that rotates and orbits inside a fixed outer ring gear (stator/ geroler). This specific gear-within-a-gear orbital movement divides the hydraulic fluid chambers and converts pressure into powerful rotary motion.
